Grape native of Piedmont, which forms the basis of Gavi DOCG wines. The vine growing in an area south-east of the country very hilly governed by a unique micro-climate. The 'alternation of clay and limestone soil gives to the Gavi wines a peculiar richness of nuances. Cortese is one of the most late in the maturation, so it is very important not to anticipate the collection to avoid compromising the quality of the final result.
