Vegetative Vigour: Very Good.

Productivity: Good.

Leaf: size of slightly less than the average, three-lobed, with lobes little pronounced.

Bunch: long and loose, berries medium, round, bluish black color

Period of Maturation: Early October.

Freisa is a black grape variety from acidic content and delicate color, is cultivated in many vineyards  areal of Piedmont, but is in the area of Castelnuovo Don Bosco straddling the provinces of Asti and Turin, which takes on greater economic importance. It 'a vine that lends itself to the production of still wines, even with a good body, or sparkling wines and mainly sweet.
